I was nervous about engaging a contractor what with all the stories you see in the news... but a bathroom reno with plumbing and electrical was something I needed professionals to do.

Magic Reno as the Contractor, and Ivan and Illya as my lead tradesmen, did a great job. There was also plumbers and an electrician (didn't get their names) but the work was done promptly and I'm so very happy with the result.

The team brought my "eclectic" design to life and did so quickly, but with significant care and attention to detail, at a very reasonable price.

Thanks to the Magic Reno team, and Ivan and Illya in particular for delivering a result I love!

We needed a bathroom renovation, and Magic Reno was one of the places we consulted. However, we didn't choose Magic Reno in the end, just because we got a cheaper offer from a different contractor. Otherwise, they were a super close second choice, and I was genuinely so impressed from the consult that I had to leave this review.

In terms of costs, pricing was all super reasonable. They offered a winter discount as well and even offered to throw in a free ventilation fan for us. I sincerely appreciated how transparent they were with the pricing. The quote provided broke everything down, and there was even a section to show pricing for optional add-ons / upgrades.

Also a special thanks to Platon, as he was the one we communicated with during consultation and for the quote. He was super patient with us, and he was very knowledgeable in his recommendations for how our bathroom could be renovated. He showed us some previous works and explained the materials that would be used, and everything seemed to be of excellent quality. The communication from Magic Reno and Platon has been absolutely incredible, and I would highly recommend that Magic Reno be considered for any renovations.

Special thanks to Pavel for fixing things in my house that weren't even part of the renovation. I would definitely recommend using them for any future renovations. They had reasonable and transparent pricing and they cleaned up after the job was done. One last mention to ivan and iliya who did amazing tile work. Every tile cut was perfect.

❓ FAQ — Bathroom Renovations Kleinburg

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

Most standard 3-piece bathrooms in Kleinburg take 7–10 working days. Larger ensuites: 2–3 weeks.

Can I choose my own materials?

Absolutely. You can supply materials or use our partner suppliers. We ensure compatibility and quality either way.

How will you protect my home?

We cover floors, isolate the work zone with zipper dust walls, and perform daily clean-ups. See details: Property protection checklist.

Do I need a permit in Kleinburg?

Short answer: Usually yes if you’re moving plumbing lines, changing walls/structure, adding new electrical circuits, or altering ventilation. Like-for-like fixture swaps in the same locations generally don’t require a building permit, but electrical work may still need an ESA permit/notification.

What we handle for you: drawings (when required), permit application and coordination with the City of Vaughan, plus scheduling of all required inspections. For electrical, we work with an ECRA/ESA-licensed contractor; for HVAC/venting we follow TSSA standards.

Do you renovate condo bathrooms?

Yes — including elevator bookings, garbage rules, and noise window compliance.

How to save money if my budget is under $12,900?

• Keep the plumbing layout

• Select standard tile

• Supply your own fixtures

• Choose a bathtub instead of a walk-in shower

• Consider renovating a powder room instead

See ideas in How to Save Money.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Licensed trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) + WSIB + $5M liability insurance. We provide flood-test records and photo documentation at handover.

Do you help with material selection?

Yes — our team assists you directly at trusted showrooms.

Do you work with homes built in the 1990s–2005?

Yes. We frequently update plumbing, ventilation, and subfloors in these homes.

Warranty for Your Bathroom Renovation
