Downtown Toronto Condo Kitchen Renovation: Matte Ivory Minimalist Transformation

This downtown Toronto condo kitchen renovation was designed to completely modernize an outdated layout while improving storage, workflow, and overall visual brightness. The goal was to create a kitchen that feels minimal, functional, and easy to live with every day.

We combined Matte Ivory full-height cabinetry, a quartz countertop with matching backsplash, and a carefully planned L-shape + peninsula layout to maximize function inside a compact condo footprint.

Design Strategy: Light, Function, and Full Transformation

This kitchen renovation was built around four priorities: complete demolition, better storage, brighter visual impact, and a more efficient condo layout.

Complete removal of existing tile flooring, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, plumbing, and electrical. Full bin disposal included for a true fresh start.

The new Matte Ivory cabinetry extends visually to the bulkhead line, creating a taller and cleaner architectural effect while significantly increasing upper storage.

Using the same quartz surface on both countertop and backsplash created a seamless, low-maintenance finish with no grout lines and a more premium modern look.

Efficient Peninsula

The peninsula added practical prep space, improved separation between kitchen and living area, and allowed better use of the sink and dishwasher zone in a compact condo footprint.
