Who says every bathroom in the house has to look the same? For this comprehensive renovation project in Mississauga, the homeowners embraced a bold “Yin and Yang” design philosophy.

The goal was to create two distinct experiences: a moody, architectural Guest Bathroom featuring matte black fixtures and geometric patterns, and a serene, spa-inspired Master Ensuite defined by warm white oak and brushed gold. This bathroom was designed to make a statement. We moved away from traditional safe choices to create a masculine, highly textured space focused on contrast.

Matte Black Fixtures: A complete Delta/Moen black shower system with body jets and a matching vessel sink faucet creates a sharp modern look.
Geometric Flooring: The wood-look porcelain tiles laid in a 3D “cube” pattern provide an incredible optical illusion of depth.
Texture Play: Vertical black hexagon mosaic tiles on the vanity wall contrast with large-format slate-look porcelain in the shower.
Shower Design: Features a custom triangular bench, linear drain, and a sleek glass enclosure.

Balancing the darkness of the first bathroom, this suite is an airy retreat focused on relaxation and warmth.

Brushed Gold Accents: From the wall-mounted faucet to the rain shower head and towel bars, the gold finish adds a touch of jewelry to the room.
Fluted White Oak: The custom floating vanity and matching linen tower feature ribbed wood textures, softening the look of the stone.
Tub Integration: We installed a deep soaking tub with a modern sliding glass door, framed by Calacatta marble-look porcelain tiles.
